Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 70

"You are crazy!" Alicia muttered again.

After a pause, she abruptly raised her head. Her mind went blank!

Frederick! He had returned!

"F*ck! I've been caught again!" she thought.

In an instant, her hand which was holding the hem of her skirt fiddled nervously. Alicia felt so guilty about coming here.

If it weren't for them, she would have already finished dancing and got the money! Oh, no! This time, she was doomed!

As soon as Frederick spoke, everyone stopped bidding.

When another young man was about to raise his hand, his hand was pressed down by Chet. He saw a man who was about to leave putting on a gloomy face.

In this city, no one dared to compete with Frederick in terms of money. Offending him meant offending The Four Great Masters of Casterwich City. Everyone had to think twice about it! Not to mention that at this moment, it was just for a woman!

On the stage, the host was shocked. When he soon came back to his senses, he quickly said, "Congratulations, Sir!"

Then, Alicia was brought onto the dance floor by Frederick. Along the way, she hung her head and

did not even dare to look at him.

She felt like her heart almost exploded.

He spent 300,000 dollars in vain, and she only felt that this was the end for her.

Thinking about it, Alicia was flustered and suddenly stepped on his foot again. Alicia was so scared that her face turned pale. "I'm, I'm sorry!" Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

Frederick's arms were wrapped around her waist, but he only responded with a "Hmm".

How could she make such a mistake even when she was doing something she was good at. She was speechless.

"Don't make any mistakes, don't be distracted!" Alicia kept reminding herself.

However, the more afraid she was, the more mistakes she made. Alicia stepped on Frederick's foot several times although she would instantly jump away and try her best to avoid herself from doing so whenever she touched Frederick's toes.

At the end of the dance, her heart was beating wildly.

Finally, the dance ended. After a moment of silence, Frederick said, "I'll give you ten minutes, change your clothes!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Frederick turned around and left.

With a buzz in her head, Alicia's palms were sweating. "I'm really going to die this time!"

She knocked on her head as she walked backstage.

"No, no. I have to think of an excuse!" Alicia

thought.

While she was changing her clothes in a hurry, Victoria called her. She quickly picked up the phone. She didn't mention anything about Frederick and told Victoria she was fine. However, the phone call made her calm down.

The doubts and worries she had vanished instantly. Unconsciously, she began to talk about it.

"Vicki, I'm so unlucky. I'm caught by my boyfriend who I'm quite fond of! Oh, what should I do?"

Alicia couldn't explain about Frederick clearly, thus, she could only ask a vague question.

"Silly girl! Are there any men that you can't handle? As usual, just act like a spoiled child! Besides, is there anyone more charming than you are? Remember what you did when I didn't want to go to the buffet? Did I not compromise? I couldn't stand it! I don't believe that men can stand it either!"

"Besides, there was President Lanes who sent flowers to the school gate every day. He wanted to give you money and look after you. Didn't he fall into your beauty trap with just a few phone calls?" Victoria reminded her.

Alicia rolled her eyes as she took a deep breath.

"Hey, Vicki, are you my friend? You are making me sound like a vixen! Who was the one that came up with such a nasty idea to make me talk about those disgusting things on the phone? But, it turned out that it really worked. We had a hard time asking him to leave us alone!"

"It doesn't matter whether it's a good idea. We just need it to work!" Victoria said.

Nodding, Alicia felt that it was quite reasonable, but she was still uncertain. "Am I really good at doing that?"

Why did she feel that she was more like a tough woman?

"Oh, my! Are you doubting my judgment? You haven't seen how you looked when you were in love! When you were on campus standing under the tree and hugging Jeremy from behind, you were really beautiful! You didn't see his eyes. He was love-sick. I even wanted to get into a relationship because of that!"

Suddenly realizing something, Victoria apologized.

"I'm sorry, Ally. I shouldn't have mentioned that!"

"It doesn't matter. It's all in the past. Nothing can't be said! I'll listen to you! Vicki, I can't talk anymore. I'm in a hurry to change my clothes and leave!"

After hanging up the phone, Alicia ran out before she could remove her makeup. She wanted to tell Frederick that she had already participated in the competition after all, and if she didn't get the reward, she would feel like she was wronged.

As soon as she walked out of the changing room, she saw that Frederick was already standing at the door.

She stopped and gasped, looking at him pitifully.

There was no expression on his face. Frederick turned around and spoke, "Let's go!”

Walking forward, Alicia pulled his sleeve and said,

"Hubby..."

Noticing that she seemed to be in a daze and her eyes were still glancing back, Frederick calmly frowned.

"Well, can you wait for me for a while?" The result was not announced yet! It was 300,000 dollars and she had a great chance of winning!

"Is there something else you want to do?"

"Just give me two minutes. Let me talk to the manager!"

Frederick nodded and Alicia slipped away the next second.

After a while, Frederick realized that she hadn't come out yet. Hence, he headed in. He looked around and saw her talking to a man in the corner.

"Please, help me! I really have something to do, and I have a great chance of winning! If I win, can you send the prize to me? I can't wait until this is over! Or can I come tomorrow and get it? Is that okay? Please?" Alicia pleaded.

"Miss, I'm not the person in charge of this matter. I can't make the decision. Why don't you tell him when he comes back?"

When Frederick approached and heard the conversation between them, his face fell. "Alicia Blanchard!"

Was the reward so hefty that she needed to please him?

At this moment, the person in charge appeared. After some negotiation, he made a decision on the spot. "Of course! Don't worry, Miss. I will send the prize to you if you win it!¹'

With a smile, Alicia bowed and said, "Thank you! Thank you very much!"

In an instant, the person in charge got startled as he glanced at Frederick. "You don't have to say that. That's what I should do!"

Frederick was unhappy. He asked, "Aren't you leaving yet?"

Sensing that Frederick's self-esteem was probably challenged, Alicia whirled around and chased after him.

At the entrance to the elevator, Alicia caught up with him and gave him a hug. "Hubby!"

However, a scorching gaze landed on her at this moment...
