Chapter 51
Vicky’s point of view
“Isn’t this guy’s name Gary Yan? I’ve heard that your company ‘s getting busier. It’s amazing that you still have the opportunity to attend the classmate party tonight.” I made the first move.
Unexpectedly, Gary walked past everyone and to Trista, asking, “Are you here?”
Three more male classmates came over as well –
“Trista. You didn’t inform us when you’re going to arrive so we can pick you up!”
“I haven’t seen you in a long time. It’s akin to evaporation. I’ve obviously heard that you’re not going to attend, so I’m not interested in coming!”
“Fuck you, what are you doing here?”
“Didn’t I see Miya’s images of Trista in the group? I wanted to come and see if I had a shot.”
“I didn’t see you when I went to cool off! How may I get a piece of what you’re having?”
“Hey, are you a brother?”
They teased and teased, suddenly heating up the atmosphere of the entire crowd.
Trista, once more! My heart felt unsteady as she once again became the focus of the audience. What’s so admirable about this terrible young lady? Why should she steal my spotlight?
Take a good look at Trista. She is dressed in everyday clothes, as are the other fallen daughters. Her neck and ears are bare, except for the ring finger on her right hand.
With my drink in hand, I approached her. “When you’re married, you don’t say anything. It’s not fascinating enough. You will be fined three drinks.”
“What? Trista’s married?”
“When will Trista get married? Why don’t I know?”
“Trista, are you married?”
……
Suddenly, the entire box was filled with talks, and I raised my lips. Hum! Trista, I see how you seduce men!
Trista’s viewpoint
I could tell Vicky was planning something, and I’ll be honest: I was impressed “Yes, I recently received my driver’s license. But I’m afraid I can’t drink.”
“What? Trista, are you actually married?”
“Is it a hasty marriage? Why is it happening so suddenly?”
“What a surprise!”
……
The entire audience discussed it once more.
“If you don’t believe me, look at the wedding ring on her right hand.” Vicky pointed to my right hand.
Everyone turned to gaze at my right hand once Vicky reminded them.
“Trista, you’re a pity. You’re married, but you’re trying to keep it a secret. How many suitors believe they have a chance to spend their time on you?” “Even if you don’t think about your husband,” Vicky stated again, “consider the feelings of your suitor.”
It was too much for me to endure. “When did I say I wasn’t married?”
“There are so many warblers all around you. You not only do not refuse, but you also offer them an opportunity. What isn’t difficult to obtain?” Vicky gave a tiny smile, exposing the virgin’s smile “It’s a bad habit to eat in the bowl while staring at the pot.
My rage was sparked all at once. I was about to argue with her. Miya quickly grasped my hand in hers and grinned “So, be careful while joking. If you talk too much by accident, it will have an impact on your classmates’ friendship! Trista, are you truly married? What does your husband do?”
For Miya’s sake, I reluctantly forgive Vicky’s provocation, but what does Donald do? I’m at a loss for words!
The lion group includes people from all areas of life, and its size is astounding! Where do we even begin?
See me in stillness.
“Is your husband’s profession so difficult to describe, Trista? Shouldn’t it be a humiliating profession?” A female classmate gossiped.
I shook my head. “I’m at a loss for words. In a nutshell, he does it all.”
“Ah?”
The entire audience erupted yet again.
“Should I carry the gas, open the toilet, bring takeout, or distribute leaflets?” Another piece of gossip.
I’m too sluggish to explain, “anything you want.”
“Ah?”
“Trista, you….” Miya muttered, “How did you end up marrying someone like that? You used to be a guy of the moment at school. You had such wonderful grades, a great family, and a plethora of wealthy and strong suitors. You chose the worse option and marry your current husband? What’s the matter with you?”
“I don’t look down on you. I believe you can match a better thing to your conditions….” Miya expressed her sadness. “If you had told me when you were getting married, I would not have let you marry such a guy!”
“Miya……”
“Trista wishes to marry emos senior, but the senior eventually chose her sister Ashley. I believe she is disheartened. Let’s become furious with someone on the side of the road.” Vicky stated it once more.
“What? Trista didn’t marry Emos? I thought Emos was getting worse, but now he’s down to dredging toilet! After much deliberation, it was discovered that Trista was not married to Emos.”
” how can he accomplish such a low-level job?”
“So Emos ultimately choose Ashley? Isn’t Trista….”
“Didn’t it say on TV that Trista’s legacy belongs to emos, that Trista is now the eldest lady who gets nothing out of the house?”
“So you don’t have a cent on you?”
“No, Trista, are you really so poor?”
When the phone rang, everyone wanted to say something to me.
“Is there a blunder, Trista? Are you lost or stuck in traffic? Why haven’t you appeared yet?” Brenda’s voice came from her cell phone. “Do you want me to pick you up?”
“No, I’ll be there in a minute.” I hung up “I’m sorry, but I have something else to do. Please excuse me.”
When I looked up, I noticed that everyone was staring at me in a complex way –
“Is that your spouse calling? Is he pressing you to return home so soon?”
“Is there a lot of work to be done at home? With your husband’s current financial circumstances, he shouldn’t be able to afford a nanny, right?”
“Isn’t it difficult for you, Trista, to transition from a daughter who doesn’t touch the spring water on your fingers to a lower-class person who can do a variety of jobs? I mean, won’t the disparity be quite large?”
“Does your spouse require your assistance because he needs to go to the restroom and momentarily deliver leaflets?”
“What, Trista, can you still use the toilet?”
……
“I really need to leave. Excuse me, I’m sorry.”
“Wait, Trista, did your spouse just send you here?”
“Yes.”
“How come we didn’t see him?”
“……”This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.
“Yes, I’ve been calling outside, but I spotted you, but your spouse….” “What car did he drive?”
“Can’t there be no car?” said Vicky.
“Ah? Your hubby doesn’t own a car? How did he just send you?”
“Shouldn’t it be riding a motorcycle?”
“What? Your husband rides a motorcycle?”
……
The audience began to converse once more.
I’m suffering from a severe headache. When did these guys become so snobbery? Besides, I’m going to be enraged!
