Chapter 53
He attempted to contact the cops, but his phone was left in the vehicle.
He had no choice but to enter and rescue her.
Jeorge Milton felt he had already paid attention to the situation, but who would have guessed that someone was already waiting for him behind the door?
He had just come in after opening the door.
Fortunately, someone ran out from behind him, and because to his exceptional agility, he was able to avoid the assault from behind in time.
What makes you think these people are a good match for him?
In any event, he was a soldier before, and he had been one before.
In a matter of seconds, two towering guys were knocked down…
The sound of a gunshot startled him, and his legs were in excruciating agony, and he quickly lost the power to kneel down on one leg.
The wound was dripping with blood…
With his crimson eyes, he pushed down hard on the wound and looked at the gunman.
The inebriated guy was so terrified when he saw so much blood he had lost control of his shotgun and seemed panicked.
The handful of them were terrified; they had just taken the money to do something, but they had blown up the situation, contrary to their expectations.
Jeorge Milton’s whole leg was numb from the pain, so he pushed himself to rise, but the guy behind him did nothing except stand there and wave the rod on the ground towards him.
Jeorge Milton’s vision went dark and he couldn’t feel anything as the rod struck the back of his skull.
These guys grasped the gravity of the situation and phoned , saying, “Have you arrived here? Something happened.”
Ava Lins, who was trapped in her room, heard gunshots and sat up with , her eyes blinded and unable to see anything.
Her heart pounded with an unspeakable fear…
The gunshot rang out…
She couldn’t see anything since her hands and feet were bound, her eyes were blindfolded, and she couldn’t see anything, even the danger that was approaching her step by step.
Snakes were the most prevalent animal in this community, particularly in these barren homes.
A little snake was quietly creeping in through the glass, and it was standing up close to her…
The door was slammed open with a thud at this precise instant.
Goden Bran’s heart clenched when he saw the image before him as he opened the door “Take care!”
He didn’t have time to think about it, so he went forward to defend her behind him, which concerned him, so he stood up and bit Goden Bran’s arm viciously.
The tiny snake vanished without a trace after biting Goden Bran, leaving two little red marks on his arm.
Pain was so excruciating that his bones had softened…
His sword-like eyebrows knotted together in anguish as he pushed down on the cut on his arm.
Ava recognized Goden Bran’s voice by the tone of his voice, and upon hearing his sad tone, she asked, “What went wrong? What’s the matter with you, Goden Bran? ”
The venom had already penetrated his body, causing his aura to weaken a little. Pulling off the black cloth covering her eyes, he barely managed a grin, “I…””It’s OK.”
Goden Bran had already been in a coma for two days when he arrived at the hospital.
When he awoke, he found Ava Lins lying on the sickbed, her hands clutching with a tired expression on her face.C0pyright © 2024 Nôv)(elDrama.Org.
He was still a little weak, and his life would have been in danger if it hadn’t been for the serum in the village’s medical room.
He dropped his eyes slightly and gazed at her face.
Even though he almost died, he believed it was worth it when he considered this.
The strain had rendered her hands numb.
He took action, but it startled Ava.
She sat up and was pleasantly delighted to see that he had awoken; the doctor said that the snake was exceedingly deadly, and that even a god would not have been able to rescue him if she hadn’t administered the serum in time.
Ava’s eyes flushed, and floods of grief welled up in her eyes as she recalled how he sacrificed his life to defend her, and how he was bitten by the snake.
She may be the one laying here right now if it weren’t for him.
Ava clutched hER hand firmly and sobbed uncontrollably “Do you have any apprehensions? Is it possible for me to assist you in making a doctor’s appointment? ”
Tears streamed down her cheeks as she spoke.
She was terrified since he was unconscious.
She had no idea what she would do if his aide, Feru, wasn’t present.
Goden Bran lifted his hand helplessly and wiped the tears from her cheeks, his parched lips asking in a raspy voice, “What are you sobbing for, sweetheart?”
Ava clutched hER palm, fearful that the assaults would force her to lose control of her tears.
She was terrified that something bad would happen to him.
“Don’t weep because crying hurts so much.”
His throat was dry, and his voice was particularly hoarse.
Ava saw his throat was dry and hastily wiped her tears away before pulling his hand down and said, “I’ll go pour some water for you.”
“Yes.”
When Goden Bran saw how worried and busy she was for him, he felt his heart begin to warm up.
Simultaneously, there was a sense of discomfort and remorse.
He had to deceive her once again.
He had no option but to go down now that things were resolved; he would be kinder to her in the future and make amends.
Ava gave him some water, assisted him in sitting up, and, most importantly, fed him with a spoon.
He sipped the water dutifully, content in the knowledge that he was being looked for by her.
“Ava,” he said as he grasped her wrist.
She fixed her gaze on him “Isn’t it?
”
Goden Bran grabbed her hand and yanked it back “Is it still possible to go back ?
She halted him in his tracks by covering his lips with her palm and saying, “Don’t speak nonsense.”
“I’m ready to trust you this time,”Ava said as she closed her eyes and nestled into George’s arms.
She was ready to give him another opportunity, just as her grandma had said, and she was willing to do so…
