Boss,I'm Not Your Stand-in Gilrfriend

Chapter 79 Rescue

Chapter 79 Rescue

I argued with the woman directly and the child cried loudly because of our quarrel. I was really

annoyed that I could not struggle with them. I threw the money away and tried to storm out of the

crowd.

At this point I suddenly saw that the crying child was caught firmly by its mother and suddenly fell to the

ground. Then Gavin came out from the other side.

Seeing that he was a little surprised, I was in no mood to greet him, and only left as fast as I could. The

parent across from me was uneasy. She tugged on Gavin's sleeve and refused to let go of him. She

was still yelling, "Hey! Why are you pushing me?"

Gavin grinned. "Did I push you? You were the one who accidentally threw the kid on the floor. How

could you pin that on me?"

I do not know when Gavin came, or how much he saw. When I looked into his eyes, I suddenly felt very

embarrassed. Gavin came and stopped me, he stood beside me and confronted the unreasonable

woman.

Seeing that Gavin and I were in the same boat, the woman's eyes suddenly widened. "It turns out you

are together! Come on, let us go cheque it out. Birds of different origins do not come together. Not only

did the bad guys smashed others' plates and blamed it to us, but they even pushed our children! What

kind of people are they! ?"

Gavin was not annoyed. "Then I'd like to ask you something. You can not take good care of your own

child. When something happens, you can only blame others. Look at the way you are holding the child.

It does not look like he is your own child. Could it be that you stole someone else's child?"

When the woman heard this, she became more furious. I was having headache by her. Gavin calmly

paid, then took the woman and child to the manager's office. Not long after, two police officers knocked

on the door and came in.

I knew that they must have been called here by Gavin. Regardless of whether Gavin knew them or not,

this woman was dumbless by Gavin's words.

The police then asked a few questions and wanted to take the woman and child away. The woman also

panicked and urged the child to speak. But he was only a child after all, who became speechless with

fear if he saw such a scene. How was he supposed to calm down and defend himself?

When the woman left, she gave me a hard look, but I suddenly felt happy. With Gavin's influence she

had to stay here for a few days.

I thought the matter was settled. I had not counted on Gavin, after sending the troublesome woman

away, still refusing to let the unreasonable waitress go. I could tell the waitress was not young

anymore, so I just wanted to let it go . But Gavin whispered in my ear, "I hate those long-tongued

women the most. I do not think she's easy to deal with. I do not think the trouble in her family has

reached a certain level yet. Why else would she bother to make trouble?" So it was not half an hour

before the waitress packed her things and went home.

By the time we got out of the supermarket, it was dark outside. Gavin held onto my shoulder and

heaved a sigh of relief, "How wonderful! We have been bullied at work for so many days and today we

have had a good romp!"

I laughed at him and said. "Did you come to the supermarket to argue with people? Then you should

know that no one can win over you."

"Don't metion it,I used to hate going to the supermarket. Now that I know the supermarket has such a

relieving function. I will go shopping every day."

I immediately stopped him. "Forget it, forget it. If you come here every day, the supermarket will

probably close down."

Gavin scowled at her. "I am not here to pick a fight. Humph, after all, it's these people who are causing

trouble themselves. They deserved it. When people are in their position, they should do what they are

supposed to do and not bring anything into the company that they should not."

When he said this, I suddenly thought of Heidi, who had disappeared a long time ago. I was

disappointed that she came out to report me that day, but that was not the real reason for her

resignation. Ultimately, she was not in the mood to work and just gossiped around the company all day.

I heard that the extremely ambiguous photo of Goran and I was taken by her.

These people all had their own fate and to put it bluntly, they deserved it.

Since they went to the supermarket today but came out empty-handed, Gavin took me to a restaurant

for dinner. While doing so, he always felt like he wanted to say something, but he paused, which was

contrary to the excitement he was having right now.

Puzzled, I asked, "What's the matter? Were you not so happy before because you let out your anger?

Why are you sighing again?"

Gavin looked at me awkwardly. "Well, Darcey. Tomorrow I may have to go on a business trip."

I nodded. Even though I could not bear to part with him, I did not think it was a big deal. "Then would

you like me to help you pack your things? Or would you like Lydia to come with you?"

"Of course it's you. You're my real girlfriend."

The coaxing of him made me happy. I only smiled and said. "I did not look anything different about you

being on a business trip. Why are you suddenly so serious this time?"

"I am just afraid that something might happen to you at home. Since you have not found a job yet,

you'd better not go out these two days. Let us go to the supermarket to buy something and keep it in

the fridge. If you want to eat something, you can order takeout. Never go out unless you have to."

I was surprised. "Is it that serious? You don't even let me get out of the door?"

"Who knows what kind of crazy idea they have? They have even used kidnapping. Maybe they'll come

up with some other ideas."

"Even so, they can not order takeaway. What if they enter the room?"

When Gavin heard this, he immediately agreed. "Yes, yes, you are right. You can not order takeout. Do

not buy any more packages. Put them all downstairs. I'll get them when I get back."

Gavin was actually worried about me, that was the good side, but his behavior was a little too worried.

Not wanting to worry him, I nodded and agreed. It would be better to improvise.

After that we were silent all night. Gavin seemed to have no intention of coming near me either. We

were both depressed at the thought of leaving tomorrow. I was more of missing him, but he was more

scared. At night, we slept in each other's arms. We felt comfortable in his arms. I could imagine how

difficult it would be without him.

I laughed because I flattered myself. When I'd been with Gavin, I had not been so reluctant to part with

him. But now it seemed my feelings for him had deepened. It must have something to do with our

shared experiences with life and death.

Having awakened in the morning, Gavin had already set out. He must have moved only slightly so as

not to disturb my sleep. I was not worried, it was a good thing he had not called me. Otherwise the

seperation would have hurt me even more.

I remembered Gavin's words about not letting me open the door so easily. When he was here, I did not

take it seriously. He really went and left me alone in this empty house. I was really a little scared. After

all, what had happened last time had just ended. And there was still a faint shadow in my heart.

I prepared the lunch myself. I enjoyed eating alone, but suddenly the doorbell rang. I was a little

startled at Gavin's words, but I warned myself not to overreact like that.

I asked who was at the door, but the person did not answer. It was a female voice calling softly, Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

"Gavin."
