Chapter 52 No One Could Touch My Woman
Chapter 52 No One Could Touch My Woman
In the middle of the night, there was a whimper from his ears.
Wesley rested in the companion bed and looked across with the voice.
In the dim light, Harriet revealed a painful face, and she kept her lips wriggled.
He got out of bed with his hands paused in the air, gently patted her on her shoulder like others did to
comfort people.
Wesley felt a bit relieved when Harriet gradually calm down and she turned peaceful.
The next day, Harriet woke up and found the man beside the bed.
She widened her eyes with shock, and then she recalled something and felt a bit upset.
She was careless. There must be something wrong with the wine last night.
What about Wesley? He happened to know she was in danger so he saved her?
There was a little complexity in her eyes. They could not hurt her if she was with Wesley.
He was annoying but reliable.
While Harriet was staring at him, a cold voice came, "You have woken up?"
As soon as Harriet's thoughts returned, she saw Wesley's lazy eyes.
Wesley just woke up, leaning his hand on his chin, leaning against the seat totally.
Harriet moved back and lowered her eyelashes, "Yeah."
"Come here." The man's words were always concise.
She frowned lightly, but moved towards him obediently.
As soon as she approached him, Wesley suddenly got up and sat down beside the bed, pulling her
hand into his chest, and then the whole person leaned on his arms.
She unconsciously reached out and tried to push away, but when she touched him, she went around
and obediently wrapped his neck.
She did not forget his warning to her.
He buried his head in her long dark, smooth hair, sniffing her aroma. There was a trace of satisfaction
in his eyes.
Sure enough, he liked her to be docile.
Harriet's body was a little stiff, but she relaxed slightly when she saw that he had no further
movements.
Wesley did not say anything, and neither Harriet. She still grumbled with what he did to her before.
However, she still wanted to clarify what happened yesterday, "What happened last night?"
The man asked, "Can't you speculate?"
"Irene always wants to hurt me." She did not forget that Irene was supported by his baby fiancée,
pretending to ask his plan, "Do you think what I should do?"
Wesley got her idea soon, "She will not provoke you again."
"Really?" She looked at him with her bright eyes. Did he fix the issue for her?
But if Irene ran to the Jones to complain, would he be willing to be against them for her?Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
Harriet didn't have that unrealistic idea.
"Great." She didn't ask any more as Wesley was a man of his words.
The doctor in the morning round came.
Harriet quickly withdrew from her arms and distanced him.
The doctor briefly checked and said, "Miss Clark, you are fine. You can go through the discharge
procedures now."
Harriet nodded.
The doctor did not leave, but took out a notebook from the white coat and sincerely said, "My little girl is
your fan, would you like to sign a name for her?
"Okay." Harriet readily agreed, taking over the notebook and signing twice, one English name and one
Chinese name.
Wesley glanced at her words and shook her head slightly.
Harriet happened to see his shaking head and asked unhappily, "What do you mean by shaking your
head?"
"It's too ugly." Wesley said without any politeness.
Harriet really wanted to blast Wesley's head as he despised her signature in front her fan's father, but
she didn't have the courage to do that. She could only to smile ridiculously," I will pay more efforts to
practice it."
But she thought her signature was obviously very elegant and beautiful. What aesthetic did Wesley
have?
Harriet pursed her lips and got out of bed and wanted to do the discharge procedure. He might get a
little anxious and she lost her balance. She rushed directly to the ground.
Fortunately, Wesley reacted fast and he grabbed her arm and pulled her back.
Her body crashed into Wesley's arms again but he didn't stand stably because the force she made. He
leaned back and fell to the bed. Harriet pressed on him and he lips happened to touch his mouth.
There was a complete different feeling for the unexpected kiss compared with the kisses they usually
had.
In an instant, Harriet's heart seemed to miss a beat.
She stared at him with her eyes widen but did not move away immediately.
Harriet changed her completion soon and propped up her hands. She quickly got up, "Wesley Smith,
we are in the hospital."
Wesley did not let her go.
Harriet was scared in her heart, and it would be embarrassing if someone broke in suddenly.
But it did not happen, Wesley let her go after a while.
Harriet was relieved and immediately jumped away from him.
She quickly walked to the door, "I will go through the discharge procedure."
Wesley strode forward and walked in front of her, "You wait here and I will do it."
"I can do that on my own." Harriet doesn't want to always trouble him. He could never belong to her.
She must not have a slight attachment to him, otherwise she would be the only one injured.
"Do you want to be surrounded by a group of your fans?" Wesley stopped and looked at her.
Fine, forgot it, she did not want to be watched.
"Sorry to trouble you." Harriet calmed down and said politely.
Wesley stopped his steps slightly with his eyes colder when he peeked at her pretty face.
Harriet called Molly when Wesley was out. She thought she knew what happened later but she didn't
know anything and she almost call the police. Fortunately, Jack told her and she was finally relieved.
"Okay, see you later." Harriet hung up the phone when Wesley came back.
She walked towards him and said, "Thank you."
Wesley frowned slightly for her politeness again.
"Let's leave here." He picked up the coat on the sofa and walked out.
Harriet trot and followed him but stopped walking.
Wesley arrived at the door but did not hear her movement. He turned around and looked at her with
little impatience, "Why did you not move?"
"You go first if you have something to do. I'll wait for Molly to pick me up and thank you for the caring
last night." Anyway, without his help, she would have been infamous. She was grateful to him from her
heart.
Wesley frowned again, "I just don't like others touch my woman."
Harriet's eyes dimmed but quickly regained her clarity. She laughed at herself with satire when looking
at his back.
His woman?
They took another passage to leave the hospital. Harriet just got on Wesley's car.
His cell phone rang.
He immediately answered it and Harriet sensitively noticed that he changed his face even though she
did not know who call him.
When they left the hospital garage, he parked the car at the intersection and threw a pair of sunglasses
to her, "I have something to do now. You can go back by taxi yourself."
"Okay." Putting on the sunglasses, Harriet got off the car without any attachment, but her eyes lost
brightness when she turned around.
This was the ridiculous relationship between them.
Harriet turned her back to Wesley, and then turned around after the car drove away.
Looking at the car disappearing at the end of the street, she smiled coolly.
See, he could just drop her and left her alone.
His woman? It was just a joke.
