Chapter 93 Meet Him Again

There were two bottles of mineral water in her bag. One of them was unopened, and the other had

been sipped by her. Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Because she only drank a little, there was no distinct difference between them. She didn't look at it

carefully when taking it out.

She didn't expect to mix the two bottles due to her carelessness.

When Matthew saw Norah stare at the empty bottle with a look of hesitating to speak, he asked,

"What's wrong?"

"Well, I..."

It would be too embarrassing to say it.

And then, Norah changed the subject, "I'm wondering if you are OK."

"I'm OK. How about you?"

And then, Matthew's eyes rested on Norah.

But he immediately looked away. Then he snorted softly to remind her.

Norah was confused, so she didn't respond to him.

Matthew reminded her again in a gentle and direct way, "Your blouse..."

Norah then followed her gaze to look at her blouse. When she saw it, she hugged herself with both

hands right away. She blushed.

She bit her lips and her face was as red as a cherry. She couldn't be more embarrassed.

She said in mind what an idiot you are. Why didn't you think of it since the rain was so heavy? You

were reminded by him. Even twice. You are simply stupid!

She wore a white blouse made of mulberry silk. It was very light and breathable.

There was nothing wrong normally. But the blouse was translucent after getting wet.

What's more, even the color of her underwear inside was faintly visible.

She felt too shameful to see anybody.

Norah bit her lips and frowned slightly. She was considering what she should do.

Matthew took off his coat and walked beside the pavilion to wring out the coat.

After wringing out several times, he shook it out and handed it to Norah, "It's a bit wet. Put it on if you

don't mind."

"Okay, thank you!" Norah didn't refuse.

After taking the coat, she turned around and put it on.

She didn't turn around until she was sure that she didn't expose other parts that shouldn't be exposed.

Matthew's cell phone rang again. It was Janet.

"It's raining so heavily. Where did you go? Did you get wet?" Janet came to the point.

"I'm fine, and I'm in the pavilion now. Come to pick me up."

"Okay, wait there, we'll come right now."

Realizing that they were going to come together, Matthew immediately stopped, "My friend is here, too.

You can accompany mom home first and ask the driver to come here. I'm not in a hurry."

"Your friend?" Janet was puzzled and gossiped, "Which friend is so important? Besides, I've seen all

your friends. Take our car and go back with us together. The car is big enough."

"There are too many people. I'm afraid it will scare her, " Matthew replied.

"Oh..." Janet immediately understood, "Ok, I see. Mom and I won't go there and I'll ask Melisa to pick

you up."

"She doesn't need to come here. I'm afraid she will bring me trouble, " Matthew frowned.

Just when he finished, Melisa O'flagen complained, "Who will bring you trouble?"

She asked, "You are a policeman. Is it good to speak ill behind your younger sister?"

She snorted, "Hmm, I'll come."

Matthew had nothing to say.

He was smart and capable but he simply couldn't do anything with his lively sister who was several

years younger than him.

Matthew felt annoyed when thinking that Melisa would come here in a while.

Norah was wearing his coat. Melisa must ask him many questions when she saw Norah and she would

keep talking all the way.

After hanging up, Matthew walked towards Norah, "I made a phone call and asked someone to pick up

us. It's still raining heavily, and it won't stop soon. I'll take you home."

Norah refused politely, "No, thanks. I have troubled you a lot today."

"It's no bother."

"No, really. It's raining so hard and you've got wet because of me. I'll feel more guilty if I delay your

time."

Matthew insisted, "I'm free today."

When Norah racked her brains trying to refuse Matthew, suddenly, a car honked.

She thought it was Matthew's car.

But to her surprise, the person who got out of the car in the heavy rain turned out to be Shawn.

Shawn?

Norah couldn't believe it. She thought her eyes blurred, so it was an illusion.

However, when the tall figure was getting closer and she saw him more clearly, she realized that it was

Shawn. He was holding an umbrella in the heavy rain.

Shawn did come here?

How could he come here? She had never expected it.

"Norah..." Shawn's voice was familiar to her. After putting down his umbrella, the tall and thin figure

stopped in front of her.

"Why don't you check the weather forecast before going out? "

"Why don't you call me to pick you up since it's raining so hard?"

It apparently showed great care in Shawn's tone.

"Aren't you in the company?"

She would have called him the first time if she met trouble before. But she dared not to ask him for help

after what happened months ago.

"Is the company or my wife important?" Shawn replied. He was composed and assured.

Norah had to confess that she got genuine warmth from him.

He always brought her wounds all over the body, but he could deeply move her unexpectedly.

"Let's go home!"

And then, Shawn realized that Norah was wearing a man's coat.

Next, he saw the man standing on the other side of the pavilion with his back facing him.

He was somehow familiar with this back.

At that moment, Melisa arrived.

After getting out of the car, she held an umbrella and rushed to the pavilion. She walked to Matthew,

"This young lady must be your friend."

Matthew deliberately didn't turn around and speak. The reason was simple. He didn't want to cause

trouble to Norah due to his existence.

But Melisa arrived at that time and destroyed it.

All of a sudden, Shawn walked to Matthew.

His pace was slow and heavy. He was obviously angry and unfriendly.

Just when he was about to speak, Norah quickly stepped forward and took his hand, "Let's go home!"
