Chapter 930 Jonny's Perfect Explanation
Chapter 930 Jonny's Perfect Explanation
However, Winnie's direct call out of Jonny's name threw Klara off.
"How do you know him?" Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
Klara was surprised, shocked and even incredulous.
"Met him abroad, he and Wendy ......"
Winnie was then interrupted by Klara in a fit of anger.
"Mind your own business, I think you have the wrong person."
Klara desperately denied it, and became even less calm when she heard the word Wendy. She was
afraid that Winnie would continue, afraid that Wendy would know about Jonny's existence.
"Klara, don't resist me so much, okay. I came out to you to let you know about Jonny, not to come over
to get you in trouble."
Winnie was angry, Klara's attitude was too vicious and it was obvious that she was intentionally
avoiding the question.
"Cut it out, what kindness do you have for me? I know what to do with my own affairs, so don't you
come here meddling in other people's affairs."
"You're annoying, you know, keep an eye on Brian, don't let Wendy steal him from you."
Klara didn't even give Winnie a chance to speak, she was very resistant to this topic and didn't want to
hear about it in Winnie.
Even if Winnie knew about Jonny, her words were not well intentioned and must have been found to
compel her to destroy their relationship because Winnie didn't want her to be good.
Winnie sighed in exasperation and helplessness, she now regretted a bit that she had meddled in the
matter. However, since she had opened her mouth to mind, she still wanted to persuade Klara.
"Klara, do you know what Jonny's relationship with Wendy is?"
"I know."
Klara answered, because Winnie was too persistent, if she did not give an answer Winnie would not
finish.
"You know? And do you know what kind of man he is?"
"I know, I know everything about him. Winnie, stay out of my business, okay? I've given up on Brian,
and I won't be fighting with you, so you better stay out of my business too."
Klara didn't know what Winnie was trying to say, but she wouldn't believe whatever it was because she
was most likely saying something that was false. The reason was to get back at her.
"You know? What do you know all about?"
Winnie was surprised that Klara knew that Jonny and Wendy were a couple, to know that Jonny had a
child, to know that Jonny was cunning and sinister and still wanted to be with him?
"Yes, I know. I know everything."
Klara yelled loudly, then stood up.
"Winnie, mind your own business, if you come to bother me, I'll still steal Brian from you."
Dropping such a warning, Klara left in annoyance.
She really didn't have the courage or any mental preparation to talk about these things, and although
she wanted to know how Winnie met Jonny, talking to Winnie would probably make her annoyed.
Watching Klara leave, Winnie didn't call out to her.
She was alone in the coffee shop for a while thinking but still couldn't figure out what Klara was
thinking.
Maybe it was really her meddling, maybe Jonny changed after he met Klara, maybe she was just being
paranoid.
Anyway, she gave her reminder, whether it was good or bad, Klara took it on herself.
Klara was in a mess of emotions and that panicked heart couldn't calm down, so in order to calm
herself down, she went to the beach for a walk before going home.
"It's taken you so long to get back, I've got dinner ready."
Jonny was relaxed as if he hadn't seen or heard anything.
"Well, Wendy's been having a bit of a hard time and I've been talking to her and it's got me all
depressed."
Klara was tedious and looked at the dinner on the table, but she really had no appetite.
"You eat dinner first, I'm going to get some rest."
Klara was indeed a little tired, and it was heartfelt.
She adjusted herself, but there were still questions she hadn't figured out.
She didn't go back to her bedroom, but laid down on the couch in the living room.
"What's wrong with you?"
Jonny walked over to the couch and squatted down to care for Klara.
"Just tired."
Klara had something on her mind, but didn't know how to ask for it, so she could only say perfunctorily.
"Then I'll wait for you, and we'll have dinner together after you have enough rest."
Jonny was extraordinarily sweet today, making Klara even more at a loss.
After thinking about it, things were always going to come to a head, and it was hard for her to keep it
inside, so she might as well ask for the results sooner.
Thinking of this, Klara sat up.
"Jonny, I'm going to ask you a few questions, don't ask me why I'm asking, just answer me, okay?"
Klara first seeked Jonny's opinion to see what Jonny's attitude was before continuing.
"Well ...... okay."
Jonny agreed to Klara after a moment of hesitation.
"You know Winnie?"
Klara's question must have sounded unexplained to Jonny because Jonny didn't know that Klara and
Winnie had met.
But even with such a headless question, Klara had to ask.
"Your question is strange, but I promised I will answer you."
Jonny was doing well, but he couldn't help but be reminded of his own doubts, or else Klara would be
suspicious if he was too cooperative.
"I don't know this person, but I've heard you talk about her and seen her on the gossip news."
"You know, the whole world knows about Brian, the business wizard, so I am concerned about him as
well. By paying attention to Brian, I can naturally know about the existence of this person Winnie."
Jonny explained it perfectly because he had been prepared for a long time and was just waiting for
Klara to ask him.
"But she said she knew you and said bad things about you in front of me."
Klara continued to ask, just unprepared for the gaping holes in the words that came out.
"She knows me? No way."
Jonny pretended to be puzzled.
"Didn’t you meet Wendy, when did you talk to Winnie about this? Does Winnie know about your
relationship with me?"
Klara's vulnerability was so big that if Jonny didn’t show doubt, there was something wrong with him.
Or maybe Klara was testing him.
When Jonny's question came out, Klara panicked, but quickly offered an explanation.
"I met her after I separated from Wendy, and I think she told me this because she knew about our
relationship. It's also because of what she said that it affected my mood."
Klara was angry with herself for not thinking things through, but the words came out with no other way
to respond.
"Oh, that's so. So you are in such a down mood."
"Klara, do you believe Winnie?"
Jonny asked Klara rhetorically.
"Of course I don't believe her, if I did, I wouldn't have come back."
"I'm in a bad mood because I hate it when she talks nonsense to me, she's too sinister a person to see
the good in others."
Klara hurriedly gave her own explanation, she hadn't figured out what was going on yet and it couldn't
possibly affect the relationship between her and Jonny.
Hearing such a reply from Klara, Jonny smiled heartily.
He knelt down on one knee and held Klara's hand with both hands, his two eyes looking at Klara with
deep and touching emotion.
"Thank you for believing in me, I love you!"
He kissed Klara after his deep confession, which eased Klara's bad mood a lot.
"Klara, it's enough to have you trust me. People aren't perfect, everyone has a bad side in the eyes of
different people, no matter what Winnie's intentions are, as long as you trust me."
"I assure you I've had absolutely no dealings with her."
Klara pondered, thinking about what exactly Winnie meant.
"But she can call you by name, what is her purpose?"
"How about I break it down for you. Did you have a problem with her?"
Jonny himself admired himself as a master of acting, only this scene he wanted to end as soon as
possible because it was tiring, because in not ending Winnie would spoil his deed.
"Yes, a big problem."
Klara said with certainty, and now she made sure to trust Jonny and doubt Winnie's motives.
"That explains, she could investigate you or she could secretly stalk you. It would be easy to find out
about me by stalking you."
"She resents you and when she saw that you are happy and at peace with me, she wanted to destroy
the relationship between us."
"Of course that's just my guess, you'll have to analyze the details yourself."
Jonny defended himself.
"I don't need to be thinking about it, you're right in your analysis. Winnie must have known about your
strength and didn't want to see me have a good life."
Klara was convinced, so that all things can be explained clearly.
After all, Winnie wasn't a person who didn't resist even after being injured, no one knew how deep her
hatred was. The woman who could fool Brian around could do that.
After dinner, Rufus went to the yard to move around. Winnie saw that it was a bit cloudy outside, so she
took a jacket out.
"Rufus, it's cloudy and cold, put on a coat."
Winnie said and draped her jacket over Rufus.
"Okay, thanks!"
"Why isn't Brian back yet?"
Rufus asked casually.
"It seems to be working overtime."
Winnie simply replied. Brian had tested her that he wouldn't be back for dinner tonight.
"Oh ...... Brian is always busy. But it's much better now than it was before, pushing off anything that can
be backed off, and for what he doesn't have to do personally, he leaves to his assistant."
"He didn’t live with me, but I knew him. He never made coming home the most important thing as he
does now."
"To your credit, you're the one who made him love home more."
Rufus had the feeling that if it wasn't for Winnie's appearance, the relationship between him and Brian
and Stella would still be stiff. What was more, he didn't know when Brian would be able to call him dad.
His home used to be so cold that it could freeze to death, so lonely that one would think there was no
one left in the world. Now everything was better, the house was warm and he was no longer alone.
He was very content and satisfied with the current situation. It would be perfect if they could get all the
problems solved.
"Don't say that, Rufus,, how can I take any credit for that?"
Winnie spoke humbly, every time they said she took credit for it, it put a pressure on her. She didn't feel
like she had any credit to show off, instead she felt like her arrival had caused divisions and chaos in
the family.
"Winwin, there's something I need your help."
Rufus always asked Winnie for help, and he felt embarrassed about it. But there were some things that
only Winnie could convince Brian, and he had to speak up.
