Chapter 1260: Shutting Out Bobby
Chapter 1260: Shutting Out Bobby
"Go, Bobby!"
"Go, Bobby!"
"Go, Bobby!"
Countless fangirls screamed. Bobby began his offense while Chris Shelby took up defense.
Bobby sneered at Chris Shelby, "Kid, I admit you're good at fighting, but when it comes to basketball, you're no match for me. You should just give up."
Chris Shelby looked impatient. "Enough talk. Let's play."
Hearing this, Bobby's expression turned cold. "Alright, kid. Let me show you what I've got!"
Not far away, Juliette asked curiously, "Esther, do you think he can win this game?"
Esther snorted in displeasure. "How would I know? This guy always seeks attention and trouble follows him everywhere."
Esther was unhappy with Chris Shelby for standing up for Marie by challenging Bobby to a basketball game. First, there was Candace, then Juliette. Just as she managed to deal with Juliette, now Marie appeared. It seemed never-ending.
However, Esther knew that Chris Shelby had no feelings for Marie; it was purely one-sided on Marie's part. Even so, as a woman, Esther felt uncomfortable.
Juliette noticed Esther's thoughts and smiled. "Esther, don't worry. My brother will definitely win this time!"
"I believe Mr. Shelby can win too!" Marie said, clenching her fists.
Harold Jefferson grinned. "I also believe in Mr. Shelby. How could someone like Bobby be a match for him?"Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Seeing that everyone believed in Chris Shelby, Esther asked in confusion, "Why are you all so confident in Chris Shelby? Is he really that good?"
Although Esther knew Chris Shelby was powerful, playing basketball wasn't the same as fighting. How did strength translate into basketball skills?
Juliette laughed. "Esther, you might not know my brother well. He never fights a battle he's not sure of winning. If he dares to challenge Bobby, it means he's certain of his victory!"
Esther thought about it and realized it was true. Since she met Chris Shelby, he had never lost a fight. No matter the opponent, Chris Shelby always seemed confident of victory. Meanwhile, Bobby launched his attack. He moved quickly, but Chris Shelby was faster. With one swift move, the basketball was in Chris Shelby's hands.
"What...?" Bobby was stunned. He hadn't even seen Chris Shelby's move before the ball was stolen from him.
"Bro, you're amazing!" Juliette shouted excitedly.
Chris Shelby mocked Bobby, "You dare play basketball with me? You're overestimating yourself!"
Bobby's face turned red with anger. "Kid, don't get cocky! Now it's your turn to attack; let's see how you shoot."
Without wasting words, Chris Shelby prepared to attack while Bobby readied his defense stance.
Despite his earlier bravado, Bobby knew from the ball steal that Chris Shelby wasn't a novice and couldn't afford to be careless. Seeing Bobby's defensive stance full of flaws made Chris Shelby smirk.
"Block him!"
"Block him!"
"Block him!"
The college students cheered for Bobby from the sidelines since he was a star at East Coast University and they were on his home turf. Bobby said seriously, "Chris Shelby, bring it on!"
Chris Shelby didn't waste time and dribbled past quickly. His speed left Bobby unable to react.
Bang!
Chris Shelby leaped high and dunked the ball directly into the hoop.
He scored!
Everyone was stunned by Chris Shelby's dunk.
"That was a dunk?"
"Oh my God! That's something you only see in the NBA!"
"Who is this Chris Shelby? How is he so good?"
Juliette and others were thrilled by Chris Shelby's score.
"This is impossible!" Bobby stood in disbelief as Chris Shelby scored so effortlessly without any resistance from him.
Chris Shelby looked at Bobby mockingly. "See that? That's real basketball!"
Bobby gritted his teeth. "Chris Shelby, just wait! I won't give up!"
Chris Shelby ignored his words; in the face of absolute skill difference, words were meaningless.
For the next half hour, Chris Shelby dominated the game. Bobby was practically crushed underfoot.

Chris Shelby completely shut out Bobby!
What team captain? In front of Chris Shelby, he was nothing but trash!
Bobby stood speechless with his mouth agape as he realized that
Chris Shelby had been playing net
possum all along-he wasn't arookie but a basketball king!
Even the top basketball stars would likely lose against Chris Shelby.
Bobby knew he had lost completely! Thinking about their bet made him realize that Chris Shelby had set a trap for him!
"Hahaha! This is hilarious!" Juliette laughed heartily. "Challenging my brother to basketball-Bobby must have been asking for it!" Marie sighed in relief since Chris Shelby only played against Bobby because of her. If he had lost, she would have felt guilty forever.
Fortunately for her peace of mind
and pride in her friend's abilities, Bobby didn't stand a chance against Chris Shelby and barely put up any resistance.
Harold Jefferson admired openly. "Mr. Shelby is incredible! I wish I could be as strong as him someday."
Through their interactions over time, Harold Jefferson realized that there seemed to be nothing impossible for Chris Shelby.
Esther remained silent; she was
numb with shock already. She knew Chris Shelby excelled at fighting but didn't expect him to be this good at basketball too.
If one day Chris Shelby claimed he could fly a plane, Esther wouldn't be surprised at all.
