Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 84
Chapter 84
Chapter 84 So, Who’s Your Man? Damien didn’t show any sign of leaving once Madelynn was ponc, llc
ordered a stcak, looking as if he wanted to have a good chat with Clarissa. Clarissa had been like a
cock geared up for a light, but the moment Madelynn lest, she lost lier spirit and stirred her coffee
abashiedly. She was afraid Damien would get mad at her. After all, Madelynn was his first love, and
she used to have so many shirts tailor-made for him. Now that she had pulled such a prank on
Madelynn, Damien was definitely going to get revenge on Madelynn’s behalf.
As long as he didn’t do it in front of Madelynn, however, Clarissa didn’t mind.
“How much do the shirts really cost?” Damien asked sostly.
He now knew what had happened. Clarissa liad switched out the shirts that Madelynn got for him, and
he himself hadu’t realized because he hadn’t bothered to look closely.
“I’ve already mentioned several times that they’re 2,000 dollars apiece.” Clarissa’s tone sounded rather
uneasy. “Where’d you get them from?” He looked down at his shirt. It was almost identical to the real
thing. It had only cost two hundred dollars, but it was comparable to something that cost tens of
thousands.
“I had them tailor-made at Haye’s Suits. I specifically asked them to sew those initials on the tag.” The
tag was behind Damien’s neck, so he had yet to see it. “Where are the shirts that Madelynn bought?”
Clarissa licked her lips. He’d finally got to this question. She suddenly felt nervous. “Oh, ul… I gave
them to someone else.” She rubbed her head. Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
“Is that so? To whom?” Damien’s voice was gentle as he turned to look at her.
Clarissa was terrified of this calm before the storm, so she said tremulously, “Landon Davis. Do you
remember him? He went with me to get a computer.” “Yeah, I remember.” “His figure’s pretty similar to
yours, so I think he’ll be able to do them justice.” Clarissa felt anxious. She was afraid that Damien
would ask her to get the shirts back “Why didn’t you bring them back?”
“Why would I?” Clarissa lowered her head and narrowed her eyes, upset. “I’m your wife, at least in
name. Do you know how many people are watching me at the company? Even if I’m getting cuckolded,
I shouldn’t do it so willingly, should I? I’m not an idiot! How humiliated would I be if my man wore shirts
bought by another woman?” “So, who’s your inan?” Damien cut his steak elegantly, his voice still
gentle. “You, of course.”
He didn’t refute this. “Since you already knew she was up to no good, why’d you still accept the shirts?”
“She’s always insulting and embarrassing me so that you’ll drive me out. I can’t keep walling for you to
help me out, can ?” Her licad drooped even lower as she muttered softly, “After all, you’re madly in love
with her. I don’t even know what you see in her, aside from her looks.” “What clid you say?” Damien
frowned.
“Nothing.”
Clarissa was like a wilted plant, She knew Damien was building up to something, and she was anxious
at the thought of the finale. Despite the build-up, Damien didn’t show any sign of exploding. When they
were done eating, he took Clarissa home.
Once they got upstairs, Clarissa started to take his shirt off. “What are you doing?” Damien asked. “Are
you this unreserved with other men as well?” “No, I just don’t think a two-thousand dollar shirt is worthy
of being worn by you. Hurry up and take it off.” She quickly took the shirt off and put it on the bed. As
she rummaged around for another shirt, Damien glanced at the tag and saw the initials on the tag-
D&C. “Are the other two the same as this one?” he asked.
“Yeah, they’re 2,000 dollars apiece.”
“Hang them up,” he said.
“What?” Clarissa had already grabbed a dark gray shirt from the wardrobe and was helping him put it
on. She looked up at him while buttoning the shirt.
“Hang them up.”
“You want to wear them? But…” She wanted to say that he already found shirts that cost 20,000 dollars
to be cheap, let alone ones that cost 2,000 dollars. They didn’t match up to luis identity.
“The quality isn’t half bad.” “Really? If you like it, i’ll have more made at Haye’s Suits. You can save a
lot of money from there. After all, you can’t be throwing money around just because you’re rich,”
Clarissa said happily, her face all lit up. “This shirt’s quality is pretty good, and it won’t embarrass you.”
“They have to be exactly the same as these thiree,” Damien said. “Alright.” Something occurred to her.
“Do the tags have to be the same as well?”
“Yes.”
Clarissa was puzzled. Did he really know what D&C stood for?
Then again, she couldn’t say no to him.
“How often should I have one made?” she asked.
Twice a month.”
