My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 879

Chapter 879

Logan smirked, earnestly asking, "What's wrong with being single?"

Esther looked at him and hesitated before asking, "Have you never been in a relationship or had

feelings for anyone until now?"

"Is there a problem?" Logan countered.

Esther tilted her head, curiously studying Logan. He was incredibly handsome and surpassed even the

celebrities in the entertainment industry. His prestigious background made it impossible for no girl to

like him.

"You couldn't possibly have never received a love letter before?"

Logan recollected the love letters he had received during his school days. "I have."

"And then?"

"I threw them in the trash."

Esther looked at Logan in disbelief, thinking he was truly a loggerhead.

Since Esther had finished washing up, Logan grabbed a hoodie and pushed her in her wheelchair to

the hospital rooftop.

The sunrise was still some time away, leaving the sky pitch black.

"What's there to see in the sunrise?" Esther wrapped herself in a thin blanket, gazing reluctantly at the

horizon.

"The sunrise signifies the start of a new day, a symbol of hope."

Esther couldn't understand Logan. They lacked any romantic inclination, so why did he bring her to

watch the sunrise? He had even said it was an order!

Esther wasn't particularly thrilled, but having washed her face, she wasn't sleepy either. She could only

accompany him and watch the eastern horizon.

A bright light tore through the pitch-black night sky, an orange glow emerging from the horizon. The

stunning colors painted the entire sky in a magnificent hue that words couldn't capture.

From casual indifference, Esther became attentive. The beautiful sunrise reflected in her stunning

eyes, and the radiant light seemed to bestow upon her a sacred aura.

"Logan, the sunrise is so beautiful." Esther marveled at the splendid colors of nature.

Logan's gaze fell upon Esther's profile. His deep and mellow voice softly echoed. "Yes, the sunrise is

beautiful."

"Thank you for showing me such a beautiful sunrise."

As the sun hung in the sky, the city came to life.

Esther looked at the pedestrians and vehicles in the distance, smiling gently. She turned to Logan,

asking warmly, "Logan, is there something you want to tell me?"

Although she didn't quite understand Logan, she felt his actions had a deeper meaning. He wouldn't

waste time just to watch the sunrise. There had to be more to it!

"The sunrise is beautiful.

"Your life is like this sunrise, full of infinite possibilities.

"So, you don't have to involve yourself with irrelevant people, affecting your entire life."

Logan's words made Esther frown slightly. She vaguely grasped the underlying meaning in his words.

"Logan, are you suggesting I give up my revenge?"

"No." Logan stood with his hands behind his back, and the sunlight shone on his handsome face,

making him look like a gorgeous prince who had stepped out of a comic book.

"I just want to tell you that revenge isn't everything in your life. You can pause and enjoy your life

sometimes."

Esther was unfazed. "I'll enjoy my life after I've finished my revenge."

The sunlight wasn't too harsh yet. Logan gazed into the red-glowing sun. "I'll congratulate you in

advance for your wish to come true then."

"It will come true."

Logan pushed Esther downstairs and suddenly said, "Bradley has been waiting by the elevator area. Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

Do you want to see him?"
