My Husband Wants Me Dead (Esther and Bradley)

Chapter 904

Chapter 904

Logan hadn't expected Esther to observe so meticulously under those circumstances.

"Based on the duration of our drive, that facility should be near Capitus, right?" Esther asked.

"No," Logan replied impassively. "We switched vans three times, so we can't be certain those were the

same vehicles. Besides, if it were you... would you leave such an obvious loophole?"

Esther took a deep breath and asked, "So, what about the information on X that they want?"

"I'll provide it," Logan said easily. "Regardless of their intentions, we can use this criminal organization."

"Will this affect you?" Esther asked.

Logan shook his head. "I need to head out. Be careful."

"You too," Esther replied.

After Logan left, the device in the room powered down, and Esther had nothing to do. As she was

about to contact Anna, she heard her name being called from below the hospital building.

"Esther!

"Esther!

"Esther!"

This familiar voice disgusted her so much that it brought a sneer to her face. She walked to the window

and peered into the garden, spotting Bradley holding a bouquet of red roses and standing in a heart-

shaped setting made of red candles.

The flickering candlelight made Bradley appear romantic and sentimental.

Without hesitation, Esther called the police. "Hello? I need to report an incident."

-

In the hospital garden.

Bradley asked hesitantly, holding the bouquet, "Mandy, will this really work?"

"Of course not," Mandy replied directly. "Pursuing a girl is about 'pursuit'. Do you think romantic

gestures like this will still sway Esther?"

"Then..." Bradley looked puzzled.

Mandy sighed, realizing Bradley was less romantic than she thought. It wasn't until she became his

relationship mentor that she discovered Bradley and Esther had ended up at this point not due to

sabotage from others but Bradley's own emotional shortcomings.

"Sincerity is the key," Mandy said. "By putting in effort time and time again, I believe Esther can sense

your sincerity."

"But she... isn't coming down."

Mandy handed Bradley a megaphone. "This has a loud volume, slightly disruptive, but it's not even

10:00 p.m. yet. It's fine, no one's sleeping. Use this to call out to Esther. I promise she'll come down."

"Will she really?"

For Bradley, Mandy was the last straw. He believed that he had to give it his all, even with a one-in-a-

million chance. Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

"Bradley, if you're willing to try, you still have a chance. But if you're unwilling to try, you have no

chance."

Bradley looked at Mandy, then turned on the megaphone. He looked at Esther's ward and said,

"Esther, I'm sorry. I was wrong."

Lately, Bradley often thought that if only he hadn't been so arrogant toward Esther five years ago,

perhaps she'd still love him like she used to. He would have gradually realized her worth, and they'd be

waiting for their children's birth just like his grandfather had hoped.

"Five years ago, my arrogance hurt you..."
