Chapter 111 – Avenging him
Alan’s eyes were clearly stunned, but he quickly calmed down.
Coldly, “Just for this matter, you came to question me?”
Lexie’s eyes were red, and one hand was constantly trembling.
[A human life, in your eyes so disdainful, it was you who did it!
Looking at her heartbroken look, Alan was furious and laughed coldly, “So what if I did it? This is J City! What can you do to me, a mute bastard?”
Lexie’s eyes were red, and at Lydia’s scream, she suddenly grabbed the jade on the table and smashed it hard towards Alan’s head.
Alan dodged and cried out in vicious pain.
Lydia ran over like crazy and pushed Lexie away hard, “How’s Alan?”
Alan covered his forehead, blood seeped out from the cracks of his fingers and flowed down the scar at the corner of his eye into his neck, and his whole face looked hideous.
Lexie dropped to the floor, her eyes full of despair and fearlessness.
Myles is dead. Alan did it.
She wants to avenge him!
“Where’s the security! Security!” Lydia stopped in front of Alan and shouted frantically towards the outside.
Someone soon rushed in.
Lexie was racked away by the security guards, still clutching the jade in her hand, and when she was leaving, she stared at Alan with a horrible look of indignation, as if she would definitely kill him if only she had the chance.
Alan looked at the image of her being pulled away, his chest smothered as if it were about to explode.
For that man, she wanted to die with herself!
“I’ll take you to the hospital,” Lydia said, holding Alan up, her face full of anxiety.
Lexie was taken to the police station.
Flora was the first to see her.
“I heard all about it, you are too impulsive, how did you get yourself into such a mess?”
But only half a day, Lexie’s eyes boiled deep sunken, the whole person’s bones, as if there is no soul, pulling the corners of the mouth miserably.
[I’m the one who got Myles killed, I’m guilty.]
“The prosecution is already gathering evidence, Alan is the biggest suspect and he should receive a court summons soon.”
[What can I do?
“Testify, that leg of Myles, he broke it, right.”
Lexie deadpans and nods.
The matter has come to this, she is not afraid of anything, the big deal is that the fish is dead, she also want to send Alan the murderer to the cell.
Flora clenched her fist and said coldly, “If you had been willing to testify, maybe this wouldn’t have happened at all, and Myles wouldn’t have died.”
Flora has always spoken directly, and these words were like a knife that stabbed hard through Lexie’s heart, stabbing her where it hurt the most, reminding her that it wasn’t Alan who killed Myles, it was her indecision.
“What? Lexie hurt Alan?”
the Mitchell family cottage.
Edith was shocked when she heard the news.
Peter Mitchell is putting on his jacket, anxious to get out of the house.
“How can it be fake? The police department called me, she is really crazy, dare to do it to her own husband, this is to put us the Mitchell Group to death!”
“Dad, wait,” Edith pulled Peter to her feet, “What the hell is going on here? How would she dare to do something like this if she wasn’t pushed to the limit?”
“She can do it when she’s pushed? What madness!”
Peter was so anxious that he was afraid that the Howard family would offend the Mitchell family because of this incident, and when the Mitchell Group’s newly acquired shares were all transferred back to Alan’s hands, the Mitchell Group would be constrained in every way, and he would not be able to sit down again as chairman of the board.
Peter didn’t have time to explain to Edith and left home in a hurry.
Edith stood at the door for a moment, fished out her cell phone and made a call, “City Hospital? Hello, I’d like to ask how a patient named Myles is doing in ward 402?”
“402? Let’s see, oh, that patient has been discharged ah.”
“Discharged?”
Edith froze for a moment, “Okay, I got it, thanks.”
“You’re welcome.”
Hanging up the phone, Edith was vaguely aware of something.
The only one who can make Lexie so mad is Myles, besides Grandma.
Something must have happened to Myles.
She clenched her fists at the thought of being humiliated by Bob earlier in the hospital.
She must get Lexie to leave J City forever, only then can she marry Alan and get rid of Bob.
Lexie spent half a month in detention.
During this time Peter came to visit, she avoided it and heard that he had a fit outside.
The rest was just Flora and the police department coming to ask her some specific details.
Half a month later, the original court date was scheduled.
Lexie waited in the waiting room for a public official to come and take her to court to appear, but instead waited for Lydia.
[How is it you?
“I’ll pick you up and take you out.”
Lydia has lost a lot of weight, and when she looks at Lexie, there is a bit of mischief in her eyes.
“You don’t know yet, do you? The trial was cancelled.”
Hearing this, Lexie was severely stunned, [Impossible!
With Flora there and her testifying, how could the trial be cancelled with so much evidence?
“There’s not enough evidence, Alan had nothing to do with Myles’ death at all, you’ve wronged him.”
Lexie jerked up from her chair and glared at Lydia, full of anger she had no way to vent.
Lydia couldn’t read sign language and looked at her with a sympathetic and compassionate gaze, “Believe it or not, I’m sure Alan isn’t like that, and this incident has nothing to do with him.”
“Do you know that you smashed him and he got seven stitches in his head? You really have a way with people!”
Lexie clenched her fist to death, and she didn’t believe a word Lydia said.
“Don’t believe me, do you? I’ll take you somewhere!”
After saying that, Lydia carried her bag and walked out, saying without good grace, “Still not leaving? Already bailed!”
Lexie followed Lydia to the western suburbs.

Even if Lydia does not say, Lexie knows where this is. The chalk marks on the floor have not disappeared, and a human-shaped outer frame can be vaguely seen, and Lexie’s face is gradually turning white.
“Alan was with me the whole time on the day of the accident and I can testify that he did nothing.”
Lexie slowly kneeled on the dirt, a pair of thin hands touching the dead grass on the ground, and her lips were trembling as images of Myles’ murder swept through her mind in confusion.
Flora’s phrase ‘one cut to kill’ always echoed in her mind.
[I don’t believe it!
Lydia and Alan are in the same boat, and whatever Alan does, she will definitely cover up.
“Well, if you don’t believe my words, you should believe your own friend’s words, right?”
Lexie was stunned when she looked up and saw Flora standing behind Lydia.
I don’t know when she came.
Lydia got in the car and waited. From a distance, she saw Flora squatting down, touching the dead grass on the ground like Lexie, and then sitting on the ground.
“The police collected all the evidence, and Myles had an unfamiliar call on his cell phone that could not be traced to a source, and it was after that call that he lost contact with me.”
“This is not the first scene of the crime.”
Lexie was stunned, [Where was that?
“City Hospital’s parking lot.”
