MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Chapter 89_ Anything for you

Liam stared at her for a brief second and returned back to his work.

“Whenever you are angry like that I assume all is well but when you smile I know there is danger lurking around”

Amelia walked towards him and snatched his laptop. “Oh thanks for noticing” she replied sarcastically.

“Hand it over I will be done in less than two minutes”

Amelia placed the laptop back beside him “Why not spend the rest of your life with it! I feel like you came for our honeymoon because of your laptop and not for me”

Liam stared confusedly at her, what has he done this time?

“Did I do anything wrong?”

Amelia waved her hand in denial “No you didn’t do anything wrong, you are a pure soul that cares so much about his laptop than his wife let me give you a quick suggestion, why don’t you walk down the aisle with it”

“There’s no need to be jealous it’s a non living thing”

“You are putting all your time on your work and what about me? I get to come second as always”

Liam bursted out in laughter, his wife was just too much.

“Amelia you are cracking me up”

“It’s not as funny as you think it is, I’m quite pissed off and you are laughing to your heart’s content”

Liam shut down the laptop and stood up, he pulled her into a tight embrace. “I find you cute whenever you try to act annoyed”

Amelia pulled away from him and threw her face to the other side.

“it will take you a lot before my anger can subside”

“Anything for you” Liam replied almost immediately.

Amelia’s eyes widened in surprise, there was a broad smile on her face which made Liam have second thoughts.

“Please go easy on me” Liam pleaded.

“I’m not going to hurt you, I will hurt myself but forget all that let’s take a walk to the town nearby I want to explore that beautiful place”

Liam creased his brows in worry, now that Jane was free he had a strange feeling that she might try to attack Amelia.

“Of course why not?”

Amelia squealed in excitement as she dashed to her wardrobe to look for something perfect to wear.

“I will be downstairs” He said planting a kiss on her cheek before heading out.

He summoned all his guards present in the building, he didn’t want to take chances when it comes to his wife.

They all lowered their heads to avoid staring at his piercing grey orbs.

“We are heading to the small town nearby and as you all know Jane is still on the loose so I want you all to blend in with the ordinary civilians but you must be on alert, I know my instruction is clear enough!”

“Yes boss!” The replied in unison and dispersed as soon as Liam dismissed them.

Few moments later, he heard her hurried footsteps descending down the stairs.

Amelia stood in front of him twirling herself with a broad smile. “Be honest how do I look?”

Liam took a step backwards to examine her properly.

She was putting on a navy blue turtle neck top with long sleeves on a black pair of rugged jeans.

“At least it’s not exposing any main parts” he mumbled which didn’t miss Amelia’s antenna like ears.

She gasped in shock “Mr Arrogant! it’s not like you are Mr universe”

“You got it all wrong I meant that you look beautiful as always”

Amelia’s cheeks flushed at the compliments “Always? so you mean you always knew I was beautiful all these months and you didn’t bother to compliment me” She joked wiggling her eyebrows.

Liam pulled her nose a bit “You don’t need to put much effort when dressing up or applying whatever girls use on their faces, you look beautiful just the way you are”

Amelia raised a brow, who knew that one day a boring workaholic man like Liam would make her blush with his cheesiness?

“Don’t make me blush so much, I don’t want to forget that I’m still mad at you”

Liam blinked in confusion, sometimes ladies were a bit difficult to understand..

..

Cecile wheeled Brianna on the streets, Brianna’s face was all smiles it’s been so long since she stepped out.

She was putting on a large beach hat and a dark spectacles to avoid being recognized by anyone.

“Liam will be so upset once he finds out about this” Cecile complained.

“He is my son and I know how to handle him, he can never be angry at me for a minute”

“Lucky you! my daughter can be angry at me for months and still eat my meals such a weird girl”

Meanwhile mark was in a hurry walking in the same direction towards the women who were chatting away happily.

He was on his way to see Liam to warn him of the horrible things his family were planning against him.

He was lost in his own thoughts that he failed to see the ladies coming his way, Brianna’s wheelchair grazed his foot slightly.

Mark groaned in pain slightly as he examined his foot.

“I’m so sorry I…”

Cecile swallowed back her words on seeing Liam’s father. “You? I mean Mr Grayson”

Mark forced a smile, he doesn’t know if he should be proud of that name anymore since his family members has managed to tarnish the glory that name used to uphold. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Hello” mark greeted her, his eyes went to the woman sitting on the wheelchair and was a bit curious.

Brianna’s heart slammed on hearing his familiar voice, she raised her head a little to have a glimpse at him, Cecile saw what she was trying to do and slightly tapped her hat.

“I’m so sorry I didn’t see you there, my sister and I were so lost in our conversation”

“Oh, where is Liam and your daughter?”

“They are not in the city”

Cecile saw the look of disappointment cross his face and sighed.

Brianna sniffed back her tears multiple times, a white neat handkerchief was placed before her. “Here use this, there’s a flu spreading around maybe you need to see a doctor”

Brianna accepted it and wiped her face with it, she smelt his familiar cologne and was about to turn to him.

“We will be on our way now” Cecile said and without waiting for a reply she pushed Brianna’s wheelchair forward.

“What were you trying to do? you almost revealed yourself to him”

“I thought he loves his wife so much, so why on earth does he look so unhappy?”

“Maybe he still hasn’t moved on yet” Cecile concluded

..

.

Anthony stared out of his car, he fixated his gaze at one particular woman who was pushing another lady on a wheelchair.

“Long time no see Cecile” he mumbled silently.

He raised his phone to his ear still staring at her “Cecile is in this city so I’m sure that my daughter is also here search for her at any cost!” he ordered.

“She has stayed with her mother for so long now it’s time for her to come to her father”…..
