CHAPTER 1
Isadora’s POV
“Isa!” Josie walks out of her room with a very small skirt, fishunet stockings and tube top on. She dresses like her personality puts out. Sassy, free spirited and crazy as hell. She walks out in front of me with a hand on an extended hip as she posed. “You ready?”
“I’m applying for a servers p0sition, not a stripper.” I said mulling over the outfit she gave me. Short shorts withmaterial fringe at the cut off. rishnets and her lucky tank top that was ripped at the cleavage. One sneeze and my nipple may pop out. I feel like a poor excuse stunt double character for Daisy in The Dukes of Hazzard.
“A servers position at a strip club sweetie, Might as well dress the part, You get good tips that way” She grinned and gave me a flirty wink. sauntering past me.
“How are you so sure I’ll even get the job?”
“You’re tiny, cute and because I already had a tallk with the boss. We’re under-staffed and need the help.” She smiled grabbing her purse from kitchen counter. That sneaky little shit.
“Then why the hell did you let me get so nervous for an interview that was never guing to happen !? And why dress me like this?” I shouted. Ugh! Sometimes she makes me waant to cut her.
“You’re adorable when you’re flustered.” She giggled and shook her ass out the door, “Hurry up or we’re gonna be late! Boss hates it when you’re late.” I rolled my eyes and grabbed my things before locking the door behind me.
I get it…. and working at a strip club wasn’t my first choice but, when you’re down on your luck you take pretty much anything you can get. I grew up poor and in many different foster homes. When I met Josie, I was eighteen. The orphanages kick when you become of age. I understand but why be so damn heartless about it. Josie took me in and has been my best friend ever since. I practicaly owe her my life. She showed me the ropes how to survive on the street and has finally agreed to let me get a job. We buckled up and backed out of the driveway.
“So what’s your pseudo name going to be?” She asked while keeping her eyes un the road.
“My what?” “You’re about to have your first shift at a strip club, You need to have a fake name to protect your identity in case of perverts.” She shook her head as if it was common knowledge everyone shoud know .
“If you had told me a week ago while l was applying for this job, I would have been better prepared.”
“How about Kitty” she wiggled and squealed,
“why Kitty?” I asked unenyhusiastic. She crinkled her nose and made a kissy face at me.
“Cause you’re just as cute as kitties.”
“Call me cute one more time and I’m slapping all that red out of your hair:” I gritted.
She hisses at me and throws up her well manicured hands. “See what I mean? Just as feisty as a kitty too,” She parks and turns off the car. She laughs, I laugh and I feel at home. She never takes anything I say to heart.
?The Silver Paw?
The Silver Paw is a busy club. It has a classy yet modern feel to it. Dim lighing and loud music blasting off the wall speakers. Modern furniture. nice tables and chairs, and a decent stage with clean looking poles. My expectations were far off. Ratted wallpaper. dirty catpet and poles that no longer shine due to the zero amount of times its been washed. We walk up to the bar and a skinny tattooed gentlemen tips his fidora at me. I immediately notice his neck tattoo. Hot.
“Hey there baby doll. You sure you’re supposed to be in here?”He smirks at me.
“This is Isadora, Cass, The new girl I mentioned.” Josie stepped in. He grabs my hand and kisses the back of it.
“Welcome to The Silver Paw.” He lets go of my hand and winks. “A classy warm welcome to a strip club. That’s new.” He chuckled at me.
“What position did you apply for?” He asked while taking a tray and placing empty shot glassed onto it.
“Server.” I stated. He bent down behind the bar and popped back up with a sexy little servers outfit. Handing it to me, he pointed to a door in the back.
“Get changed in there, When you’re done, come back to the bar. Oh and uh, keep the fishnets.” He winked. I rolled my eyes and made my way to the back.
*****
I walk back to the bar in this skimpy little outit. A tiny black skirt that barely covers my ass. These damn fishnets and a corset-like top that pushes my tits up to my throat. As I learn how to breath all over again, I find Cass casually pouring whiskey into four small glasses. Since I’m going to work here, might as well get to know my coworkers.
“So what does Cass stand for?” I asked Ieaning against the bar counter.
“Cassius.” He smiled and continued to pour. He takes another tray out and neatly sets all four glasses onto it.
“You see that room over there with the red Curtains?” I looked over my shoulder and nodded.
“Take these drinks in there, set them on the table and come back” he ordered.
“So that’s it?” I asked. He looked at me confused.
“Take drinks to a table and come back for more? This is my job?”
“Were you expecting something different for the job title of server?” He laughed. I rolled my eyes and picked up the tray, making my way to the back room. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
