The Woman From Hell

Chapter 2693

The next few days, I received consecutive calls from partners requesting for the termination of contracts. I did as Theo said and agreed with everyone.

After printing out the contract termination agreements, I brought the thick stack of documents to Theo's office and placed them in front of him. "I get a call requesting for the contract to be terminated as long as Keith was involved in the project." Theo just glanced at the stack before saying, "Yes, they probably don't want to sign it in person. Just stamp it and then send it over." He placed the official seal in front of me.

This course of action was such a play down as if they were just a few small companies that were not worth mentioning. However, the companies that wanted to terminate their contracts were all well-known companies in the country. Even the smallest company was doing great in Whaldorf City. All their projects coincidentally involved Ketih. It did not feel like it was something that happened overnight.

"Nibel wanted to take you down from the very beginning. He must have been planning this for a long time. He finally got his wish now, snatching so many projects away from Grant Corporation."

Theo just smiled softly at that. "Grant Corporation can still survive without these projects."

"That's what you say, but Grant Corporation's stock price plummeted recently. There are also many rumors circling outside, and they're especially taboo. It's no wonder Keith managed to lead these people away." My tone was dispirited as well as my state as I stamped the official seal onto each document one by one.

Theo glanced at me from the corner of his eye from time to time while he handled his own work. "Take out the vitality you had when you started Green Orange back then. Are you going to let this trivial matter defeat you?"

"You call this a trivial matter? If it is, then my resistance is too low." After stamping the last document, I picked everything up and said, "I'll get someone to send these over and buy lunch along the way." "Alright."

After leaving the office. I got someone to send the agreement documents to each company address before heading out to pack lunch.

I was sitting in the same restaurant and waiting when someone suddenly sat down in front of me.

"Long time no see, Miss Lane."

This voice.

I frowned and looked at the man in front of me. "Samuel?"

Samuel smiled even more brightly when he heard me call his name. "You remember me. This makes it easy, then."

He threatened me to agree to his condition with the incident that happened in the mountains. Was he going to ask me to fulfill it now?

I looked at him, unease bubbling up in me. "What do you want me to do?"

The fact that Samuel dared to appear in public meant that he was fearless. Theo had not been able to uncover his real identity either. It seemed that this person had a pretty strong backer.

"It's very simple. I hope you'll resign

from Grant Corporation within the week and leave Theo's side. But please be careful not to tell him

swnovel

about this in advance. I want you to disappear silently within a week."

Every word he said made me shiver despite the sun shining so brightly outside.

"Did Nibel send you?"

"You don't need to know this. You just have to do what I tell you. Otherwise, what happened in the mountains will no longer be a secret. Think about your good friend Nina. If this incident is exposed to her

family, will her marriage still be

fine?"

I clenched my hands tightly and spat out the words while trembling slightly, "You're despicable!"Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

Samuel's head tilted back as he

laughed. "You can curse me as

much as you want. Regardless, you need to fulfill my assignment. Once it's over, I'll leave. Don't forget, Miss Lane know your every move. Don't try to tell Theo Grant about this in advance. Our agreement will be void the moment you leak this."

After saying that, he left with a sly smile while I stared at his back, silently furious...
