Never

Linda didn’t press the waiter for answers regarding who sent her the teatime set. She simply moved aside, allowing the waiter to push the cart in.

Linda knew it was William who sent it. So, she didn’t rush to see what was inside the cart, instead

enjoying her afternoon tea.

William still had a place in Linda’s heart. After all, she had loved him for years. It was probably genuinely difficult for her to completely erase those feelings.

Linda had been deliberately distancing herself in a way.

If he had really been involved in what happened to John and Tom back then, including the medical team, Linda could never forgive him.

Although Riley’s death was not directly caused by Tom, he was still liable for it. If he hadn’t done nothing and merely stood by when he came back, maybe Riley would still be around.

William’s actions over the years had already shattered Linda’s heart. It is impossible to restore the broken fragments of her heart to their original state.

Now, no matter what William did, it made little difference to Linda. Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Linda enjoyed her afternoon tea peacefully and sat on the balcony with a notebook on the table.

She casually plugged the USB drive into the docking station and opened the files. It was an audio recording

Linda frowned after listening to the audio recording. She picked up her phone, which was lying face down nearby. As expected, there was a message from William.

Her phone was usually kept on silent, and when she really didn’t want to be contacted, she would simply turn it off.

William: “Linda, I assume you’ve listened to the audio by now. I did help Tom, but please believe me. I didn’t know his plan involved targeting Uncle John. My office’s surveillance captured the recording. If you don’t believe me, you can visit my company and view the original video after returning to Osmo.”

A slight smile played on Linda’s lips when she looked at the message. Then, she began to type her response.

Linda: “It’s so easy for you to forge an audio or surveillance video, Mr. Wilson?”

It was clear that she didn’t believe what Wilson sent. She switched to another message and texted Samson.

Linda: “Samson, can you look into someone for me? Wendy will send you the details soon.”

He replied quickly: “Sure. When are you coming back to Osmo?”

She thought for a moment and glanced at the scenery from the building.

Linda: “I need to take a break for a while. When I’m ready to return, I won’t stay in Aventis any longer.

Linda: “If YK Media has work that needs me, we can have an online meeting for discussion.”

Samson: “You can take your rest. We don’t need you here at the moment.”

Samson: “Should we have Lina oversee your studio in the meantime?”

Linda: “Yes, please let her know.”

Linda turned off her phone and leaned against the fence.

From the day she returned, her plan had to be flawless. So, Joanne, Ida, and Tom’s family should brace themselves for her revenge.

When it came to William, Linda preferred not to get into it. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to, but it was because she had loved him so deeply once that she didn’t want to be too harsh.

Of course, this was based on the premise that William hadn’t done anything to harm John. After all, everything had its cause and effect.
